Brain Tumour & Cancer Support

Currently the Thorne Mason Trust uses the money raised to offer support to anyone in the Pembrokeshire area who has been affected by a brain tumour or cancer.

Our aim is to provide different services to those already existing in Pembrokeshire so that we can help make everyday life a little bit easier for sufferers and their familes. Because we are a small charity we are able to work on a personal level and provide services to suit the specific needs of individuals.

Services we have provided in the
past include:

>FREE complementary therapies @ home
>Funding visits to the Penny Brohn Cancer Care
  Centre in Bristol
>Funding dinner in local restuarants for sufferers and
  their families
>Contributing funds for transport to and from hospital
for cancer patients and their families

We are now also able to fund and provide a range of additional services to suit the needs of individuals
such as:

> Gardening
> Cleaning
> Organic Vegetable Box Delivery
> Hair and Beauty Treatments
> Transport

To enable the University of Portsmouth's centre of excellence to focus on a three year programme of brain tumour research it will need £1million per annum. Put simply,
over a course of 365 days in a year, thats £2,740 per day.

Our aim is to Sponsor as many days
of research as possible.
