Yesterday volunteers of the Thorne Mason Trust met up with brave Josie Phillips who is sailing around Britain with a brain tumour.

Josie, a 27 year old doctor at Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital
with a malignant brain tumour sets sail on 15 May from Ipswich in
Suffolk. She has set herself a challenge with three primary
objectives: sail anti-clockwise around the coast of Britain, raise
awareness of brain tumours and, at the same time, collect around
£20,000 for Brain Tumour Research. The trip will take Josie and
her husband Roger four months and they will cover around 2,000 miles.

In support of Josie, representatives of the The Thorne Mason Trust met up with the couple in Neyland Marina and enjoyed squash and cakes on board their boat 'Nordlys'
